Banned XBOX 360? There may be help!

With the recent 360 banning occurring right before the holiday season, its not hard to imagine why Microsoft timed it like they did. Couple the hardware ban with neutered hardware, you now have issues even playing offline. So its time to go out and buy a new 360 right? Well, maybe not. Hope is around the corner it seems through a few communities of helpful hackers.

According to 360mods.net, a hacker by the name of c4eva has announced that he is working on new firmware for all drives known as iXtreme LT. This firmware will be a very clean and as close to original firmware as possible. While this will loose some of the patching checks done by current firmware, it ensures that very little of the original firmware is changed making it harder to detect.

So, keep your eyes open and hope for the best. Or, you could always purchase a new 360 (to have handy) thanks to Points2Shop. Be sure to check it out!
